• AASHTO EMS Technical Assistance Program. As part of its overall technical assistance support, the Center for Environmental Excellence by AASHTO offers EMS support and assistance of a team of highly-qualified experts.  The Center’s recent and ongoing EMS support and assistance for transportation agencies includes orientation (EMS concepts, principles, structure, and approach); work plan development (actions, responsibilities, resources, and schedule for EMS development and implementation); mentoring; and, training. EMS technical assistance can be requested by responding to the Center’s requests for expressions of interest sent to transportation agency executives; or following the instructions presented on the technical experts section of Center’s website.
