- Example of public input/notice for a de minimis determination. The City of Lincoln’s/Nebraska Department of Roads’ 9th/Van Dorn Street and 10th/Van Dorn Street intersections safety improvement project resulted in use of Van Dorn Park, a Section 4(f) Resource. The project sponsors developed an agreement between the Public Works and Utilities Department and the Parks and Recreation Department to replace trees removed from the median area with trees planted in the main portion of Van Dorn Park. This agreement resulted in concurrence from the agency with jurisdiction over the park that the impacts are minimal, which allowed for the use of a de minimis determination.
